CBDC como instrumentos de poder global: internacionalización moneta-ria y estrategias geopolíticas en China, Europa y Estados Unidos

Resumen

Este artículo analiza las Monedas Digitales de Banco Central (CBDC) como herramientas estratégicas de poder monetario e influencia global. Compara el e-CNY de China, el euro digital europeo y el ecosistema de stablecoins basado en el dólar de Estados Unidos (EE. UU.) a través de un Índice de Potencial de Internacionalización de las CBDC (IPI-CBDC), que integra cinco dimensiones analíticas: privacidad, interoperabilidad, remuneración, límites de tenencia y legitimidad institucional. Los resultados muestran que China utiliza el e-CNY como vector de control regional, la Unión Europea (UE) despliega el euro digital para salvaguardar la soberanía regulatoria y Estados Unidos mantiene su dominio global mediante infraestructuras digitales privadas. El estudio concluye que el futuro del dinero global será híbrido y multipolar: el poder monetario en la era digital estará definido por el dominio tecnológico, la confianza institucional y la interoperabilidad estratégica.
